Repetitions
The repetition of beats and rhythm plays an important role in Aphex Twin’s music, visually expressed through the repetition of type, shapes, and glitch imagery. The movement of the repetitions embodies the progressive groove of the beat pattern of his music.
Imagery
Aphex Twin expanded the turf of ambient music soundscapes by incorporating oceanic beats and bass lines. The ripple in the imagery symbolizes his music’s aquatic atmosphere and the four-on-the-floor beat pattern (a bass drum on every beat) throughout the album.
